Global warming forced Greenland's polar bears to adapt: study

Polar bears in Greenland have shown flexibility in adapting their diet and habitat due to climate change. A recent study revealed that rising temperatures and reduced sea ice during the last ice age forced the polar bears to move further north. Despite being classified as vulnerable, polar bears are relatively adaptable. Scientists have discovered a new population of polar bears in the southeast Greenland, where they use freshwater glacier ice chunks to hunt the seals.
