Game-changer for US? Geologists find huge deposit of lithium, likely to be world’s largest

According to reports, McDermitt Caldera near the Nevada-Oregon border could hold up to 20 to 40 million metric tonnes of lithium deposit - enough to quash America’s dependence on China for the metal supply. The giant crater is expected to have lithium reserves more than double the quality found elsewhere in the world.
