The power disturbance began on Friday night and affected cities such as Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, and Eldoret. While power has been restored to most areas, some parts of the capital and Mombasa are still without electricity. The airport was in darkness for about two hours, causing services to be halted temporarily.
