How Many Companies Of Adani Are Listed Till Today?
At present, seven companies of Adani Group are listed in domestic exchanges: Adani Enterprises, Adani Transmission, Adani Wilmar, Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, Adani Total Gas, and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone. Of these four companies, only Adani Green Energy Ltd and Adani Ports hold a higher proportion of shares in public capital, 40%, and 36% respectively. As a result, the group now comprises seven listed subsidiaries of the Adani group, which cover cement, ports, power, etc. In addition, Adani group now owns two more listed companies as it managed to grab the shares from Holcim of Ambuja and AC Cement. The logistics and port infrastructure arm of the Group, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zones Ltd (APSEZ) has a market capitalization of Rs1.56 lakh crore, while shares were quoted at Rs765.10 on Tuesday.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd, a component of the group's business, has gained more than 20% over the past year, as against the 17% gain seen by the Nifty50. Adani Ports reached its 52-week high of Rs 901 in June 2021, after which it has been trending in the negative. All BSE companies saw a market cap increase of Rs 12.74 lakh crore in 2022 while seven listed companies of the Adani group alone gained Rs 10.05 lakh crore in market capitalization in that time. Till Tuesday's session of Indian share markets, three Adani Group companies had achieved a milestone market capitalization of Rs 3 lakh crore, but Adani Enterprises Ltd has now joined this elite group.
In January 2018, Adani Green Energy Limited, an affiliate of the Adani group, was listed among the global Top 15 Solar Power Developers by GTM Research, market analysis, and consultancy arm of Greentech Media. In May 2021, Adani Green Energy acquired SB Energy, a joint venture between SoftBank Group and Bharti Enterprises, for $3.5 billion. The firm has recently been among India's 10 most valuable companies, thanks to its nearly 2000% share price increase post-pandemic.
The flag bearer of Adani Group crossed a Rs 1 lakh crore market cap for the first time on 3 March 2021, and the company's share price reached a high intraday high of Rs944.75 before closing at Rs918.65. The RM3,600 crore IPO of Adani Wilmar is open for subscription until Monday, 31 January 2022, with Adani Wilmar's price band fixed at Rs218-230 a share. Adani Wilmar, listed in February 2022, was trading almost 252 percent higher on 23 September 2022, at Rs 808,80, against its issue price of Rs 230. Before going ahead with Adani Wilmar's IPO, Adani Wilmar raised close to Rs 940 crore (Rs 9,39,89,99,910) from 15 anchor investors instead of 408,65,217 shares at Rs 230 apiece on Tuesday, data on stock exchanges showed.
